And finally, the Nigerian King - Omono. Having been born in The Netherlands, raised in Nigeria, completing high school in Ontario and graduating with a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Alberta, Omono’s upbringing speaks for itself. A word that really encapsulates his lifestyle is Ambition. Since graduation, he has branded himself as a self-taught multimedia creative. When you don’t see him designing La Connexional posters, logos and marketing materials, you’ll spot him organizing dance workshops or even dancing in music videos. As a Nigerian, he’s typically accused of being a yoruba demon, but his loyal self is always out there being a helping hand to his friends. As a cinematographer, Omono combines his love for technology and street art to make beautiful cinematic videos for companies or his friends. It’s a vibe when he’s in the room, if you know, you know.
He has being imperative in a lot of ideas and marketing for La Connexional. He believes life is all about balance and making the most out of little things. Omono keeps it real and makes you think twice. He has this drive, this spark that lives inside of him that lets everyone around him know that he's gonna be the best, do the best, and give his best. In his words, “Your culture is your wealth. Avoid comparing your story to others but rather, listen, learn and empower each other.”
